We were awarded ISO 9001, an internationally recognised quality management standard accreditation, in 2013 in recognition of our Quality Management Systems.
ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
Earlier this year we were awarded with the ISO 14001 an internationally recognised standard accreditation in recognition of our Environmental Management System. It is the most widely recognised environmental management system standard in the world and It demonstrates our commitment to controlling the impact of our activities on the environment.
OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series.
We take the health and safety very seriously. Our recent award of this internationally applied British Standard for occupational health and safety management systems demonstrates sound occupational health and safety performance.
We have over 250 highly trained Supervisors and Engineers who are all Gas Safe Registered with many years experience installing and maintaining a wide range of heating equipment and systems.
The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS)
We are also registered with Constructionline who provide our business management certification, and the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) who provide our Health and Safety Management certification.
National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC)
Contractors registered by NICEIC are assessed on a regular basis to ensure that they are capable of meeting the relevant technical and safety standards, codes of practice and rules of the schemes they are registered to. Contractors registered to NICEIC Building Regulations schemes are authorised to self-certify their work without hindrance from Local Authority Building Control. This saves you time and money when undertaking work that requires notification under the Building Regulations.
The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS)
We are among the earliest of a growing number of companies in the United Kingdom to have been awarded the prestigious United Kingdom Accreditation Service. We are accreditation certified with NICEIC.
The Oil Firing Technical Association (OFTEC)
The Oil Firing Technical Association (OFTEC) represent the oil heating and cooking industry in the UK and the Republic of Ireland to ensure quality standards and efficiency within the industry. OFTEC establishes the standards for competence within the domestic oil heating and cooking industry. By ensuring the quality of people and businesses working in this area OFTEC maintains standards for reputable companies and consumers alike.
Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS)
The MCS is an internationally recognised quality assurance scheme which demonstrates Swale Heating are committed to meeting rigorous and tested standards. It was designed with input from installer and product representatives. Similar to the Gas Safe Register, the MCS is a mark of competency and demonstrates that we can install to the highest quality every time. Installer certification entails assessing the supply, design, installation, set-to-work and commissioning of renewable microgeneration technologies.
Heating Equipment Testing & Approval Scheme
HETAS is the governing body that approves biomass and solid fuel heating appliances, fuels and services, including the registration of competent installers and servicing businesses. Our installers are trained and approved to UKAS standards and can self-certify that their work complies with the relevant building regulations.
