Supporting our local communities

We pride ourselves on outstanding customer service and keeping our customers safe and warm. This objective drives our desire to support our local communities.

We work with several charities, sponsor local sports teams and hold various employee events to raise money. Our employees also get two volunteering days a year to donate their time to a charity of their choice. We partake in various fundraising events, from Easter egg collections, charity bake sales and fun runs to help raise essential funds for local charities.

Bubble Rush Fun Run

Over the years we have worked closely with Demelza, a local children’s hospice that delivers extraordinary care to children and support to families who are facing serious or life-limiting conditions throughout Kent, South East London and East Sussex since 2010. Swale Heating has taken care of Demelza’s boilers by providing free servicing and breakdown cover. By keeping Demelza properties safe and warm, we also provide a restful environment for the families who use Demelza’s services and the patrons who visit their properties.

Alongside fundraising events, we support our local community in any way we can. From visiting schools and providing support and information to students about the heating industry, as well as offering career advice. We have also donated funds to local projects including Fresh Visions ‘BuildYourself’ project which helps young people develop career-based skills.

Westlands School Visit

In recent years we have offered paid roles for students during the summer holidays within our customer service team to help them develop skills and gain experience within a work environment. We have provided interview workshops for students and young people with special educational needs and disabilities to ensure they have the skills and confidence they need for the future.

In addition to this, we like to encourage and educate the importance of taking care of the environment and the local area which is why we have hosted landlord forums to educate and support local landlords on the importance of renewable heating solutions, been involved in litter picking, recycling and sponsoring local garden competitions.
