Vaillant vSMART Thermostat

The Vaillant vSMART enables smart learning which adapts to your schedule as well as preparing for weather compensation. As a wireless device, it can be paired with your Vaillant ecoTEC boiler and can be controlled by a provided controller or by the vSMART app which can be downloaded to any Apple ® or Android™ smartphones or devices. In bad weather the thermostat will automatically raise the heat and lower it on hotter days, enabling you to save energy when you could be losing it. 

Drayton miGenie

Most commonly known for their radiator valve control, Drayton are a reliable brand who specialise in allowing you the control over the heat in your home. The miGenie comes in three different pack sizes that allow different levels of control based on the number of zones and channels desired. The miGenie is compatible with their app which can be used with iOS or android devices as well as Apple ® watches.The modern concept of the Drayton miGenie is that it can control four of the home's most imporant zones. upstairs heating, downstairs heating, hot water and underfloor heating.

The miGenie features a ‘copy day’ feature enabling quick scheduling and allows zone controlling of different rooms. The miGenie looks most similar to original programmers or thermostats, ideal for those beginning the transition into smart living. 

Honeywell Evohome

The Honeywell Evohome Connected Thermostat comes with a variety of add ons and separate packs which enable you to heat any home with great precision. The standard pack comes with the capability of separately heating 12 different zones with your phone or the WiFi connected controller. Initially the Evohome comes on a table top stand however a wall mounting kit can be purchased if desired.

The screen is versatile with different idle screens, a day and night mode and touch screen control. Available as add on products are the smart radiator valves, underfloor heating control and individual zone thermostats. 

Honeywell Lyric

Honeywell also offer a more straight-forward alternative to the Evohome called the Lyric. The Lyric can be purchased as either wired or wireless and works with the Honeywell app. The T6R can work with any boiler and almost every heating system. Location based programming assists with the scheduling of heating as geo-fencing adds an additional automated layer of control. This enables the device to sense when you are closer to home, automatically activating your heating. The device also has a ‘fail-safe’ feature enabling standard boiler control for when communication is lost.
