Swale Heating wins £350,000 contract

Swale Heating has won a £350,000 boiler installation contract with the Mears Group, the leading social housing repairs and maintenance provider in the UK.

Under the contract, Swale Heating will now supply and install boilers in 150 properties in south east London. The work will take up to six months to complete.

Mears provides rapid response and planned maintenance services to local authorities and registered social landlords and delivers more than 6,000 repairs every day to a portfolio of over one million homes nationwide.

Stuart Davis, Swale Heating’s Contracts Director, said: “This contract was won after a competitive tender so we’re delighted to be working with Mears in delivering this programme of boiler installations. All the surveys have been commenced and the installations work will start in the near future.

“This is the first time we have worked with Mears and I hope it’s the start of a long and successful relationship between the two companies.”

Swale Heating has been installing and maintaining heating systems for both domestic and corporate clients across a range of sectors for more than four decades, gaining a reputation for excellence among domestic heating customers in 125,000 homes, as well as over 35 housing associations and local authorities.
